No. 1 of Trajectes: A Compendium of Craft Exhibition
Trajectes No. 1 marks the inaugural edition of a magazine dedicated to an exhibition of artisanal works at the Art School of Vic, hosted in the [Name of the Gallery]. This publication documents and frames a collection of highly original pieces, each reflecting both the continuity of craft traditions and the inventive spirit of contemporary design.
As designer and conceptual director of the publication, I introduced a distinctive element: a layer of transparency for each piece. This transparency is more than a visual device; it allows the viewer not only to contemplate the object but also to project their own proposal onto it, to imagine variations, reinterpretations, and possible futures.
Through this interplay of clarity and openness, the design extends the exhibition into the realm of dialogue — between maker and audience, between materiality and imagination. Trajectes thus transcends the role of a catalog: it becomes a reflective space where craftsmanship is revealed not as static, but as a living, evolving practice.
